Distinguished Young Women of St. Clair County is pleased to announce its 2027 local program, to be held on June 27, 2026 at 4:00 PM at CEPA Pell City!

Young women in the Class of 2027 who live in St. Clair County are invited to participate in Distinguished Young Women, a national scholarship program that encourages confidence, leadership, and personal growth through competition in scholastics, talent, self-expression, fitness, and interview.

Participation is completely free, and participants have the opportunity to earn cash scholarships as well as college-granted scholarships at the local, state, and national levels. Our current Distinguished Young Woman, Izabella Ragan of Moody, will be visiting local schools in the coming weeks to meet with junior girls who are interested. Be on the lookout for her if you want to hear about her experience and learn more!

We encourage interested students and their families to visit distinguishedyw.org to learn more and apply to participate!

Distinguished Young Women provides scholarships, life skills, and networking for high school girls who plan to further their education.

Shelby has been busy in Montgomery. The clas of 2023 has participated in the inauguration parade, visited with Gov. Ivey and were guests of the Kiwanis Club. we look forward to seeing Shelby and the class of 2023 on stage this weekend!
