All summer long, our children practiced and prepared for the Big Oak Cattle Rodeo. The night was a celebration of their hard-earned skills, growing courage, and confidence.

We are so proud of them for their perseverance and discipline in making it to the arena and competing.

Happy First Week of School! 📚🍎

As our children begin a new school year, we’re praying they grow in confidence, build meaningful friendships and discover new ways to use the gifts God has given them.

Please join us in praying for a year filled with joy, growth and plenty of moments worth celebrating. We’re grateful to walk alongside them through it all.

A child’s story does not have to be defined by where it begins.

Through the love of Christ, faithful relationships, and steady encouragement, Lorenza is living a story of healing, Hope, and a future shaped by God’s faithfulness.

Her story reminds us that when a child is known, loved, and given room to grow, God can write something beautiful across generations.

Meet Daniella.

Surrounded by people who believed in her, Daniella has grown into a young woman who steps into new opportunities with confidence and courage. Her story is a reminder of what can happen when a child is encouraged to discover who God created them to be.

As we wrap up the final week of P21, our riders are looking back on how far they’ve come and preparing to put everything they’ve learned into practice at the rodeo.

Over the past eight weeks, they’ve built confidence in the saddle, learned responsibility through caring for their horses, and discovered that growth comes one faithful step at a time. Now, as they get ready for rodeo night, it’s not just about showcasing new skills. It’s about celebrating the perseverance, courage, and character God has been building along the way.

At Big Oak Ranch Communities, Hope is growing in the lives of children and Foster Parents every day.

Through Christ-centered homes, children are finding stability, siblings are being reunited, and families are receiving the support they need to keep saying yes to the calling of foster care.

This mission reaches beyond the Boys’ Ranch and Girls’ Ranch, opening the door for more children to experience healing, belonging, and the Hope found in Christ.

Meet Menyon.

Creative, caring, and curious, Menyon brings joy to the people around him through his artwork, his friendships, and the way he sees possibility in the world.

His story is a reminder that growth happens when a child is known, encouraged, and given room to discover the purpose God has placed within them.

Some days are full of learning. Some days are full of laughter. And the best days are both.

At Big Oak Ranch, even the fun moments have a way of helping our children grow. From cheering each other on to laughing through the unexpected, P21 is about more than learning to ride. It is about growing in confidence, building friendships, and seeing how God can use simple, joyful moments to shape a child’s heart.

Because sometimes the memories they carry longest are not the perfect rides. They are the ones they shared together.
