Please help the Springville Parks Board by providing your input on this form and/or attend our next meeting on February 12th at 6PM. We are looking into options for a pickleball court in town and this will be one of the first items on our agenda at our next meeting. We appreciate your input!

Good news and bad news!

Thanks to a tip from our community the sheriff's office was able to recover our trailer!

Unfortunately it was empty, so all of our games and materials are gone 😔.

If you or your organization would be interested in building and/or sponsoring a game for this year's Springville Fun Days please reach out!

Thanks again to our supportive community that helped us recover our trailer!

Unfortunate Community Update

The Parks Board trailer has been stolen.

We believe the individual(s) responsible may have been expecting to find tools or valuables. Instead, what was taken were the handmade games and resources we use for community events. These items represent many hours of volunteer effort and are difficult to replace.

The trailer is insured; however, the games themselves will need to be rebuilt. If, during your travels, you happen to see any of these items dumped along a roadside or in a ditch, please let us know where they are located.

If you notice a gray, covered cargo trailer that seems out of place in your area, please report it to the City or the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

Trailer description:
-2017 United Trailer Company cargo trailer
-Size: 6x12
-Color: Gray
-Side entry door
-Fold-down rear ramp door

We appreciate the community’s help in keeping an eye out and sharing this information.
