Little Sunshine Walk (Daelynn R. Simpson Foundation) Little Sunshine Walk for Daelynn R. Simpson Foundation The Little Sunshine Walk and the memorial fund is our family's way of keeping Daelynn's memory alive.

She was a wonderful, happy, beautiful little girl that was taken from us at the young age of 16 months. She was the sunshine of our lives and could brighten any day as soon as she smiled and gave you a hug! She was our little sunshine and will always live on in our hearts.

We have gotten donations from many companiea again this year.
water from Poland Spring, gift certificates for gas and pizza from Airport Variety, gift card from Shaws and 3 gift certificates from Applebees! Many thanks to our generous donors. Without you we would not have raffle items to give out to participants.

Our event is on June 9th this year. I will be setting up registration on Active.com this week. I will also be mailing registration forms and pledge forms to anyone that walked last year and gave me an address :) Hope to see you all there!!

Next year The Little Sunshine Walk will be held the weekend of June 9-10. Anyone want to weigh in and tell us whether Saturday or Sunday works better?

The past week has been tough as we remembered our Little Sunshine Daelynn. I cannot believe it was a year on the 26th since we lost her :(

I have an update for everyone with the funds raised today. We raised $1300. Some will go to expenses, but we should be able to do a $500 payment to a family needing assistance and a $500 scholarship!!!!! Thanks so much to everyone that helped raise these funds!

Hi everyone, The Little Sunshine Walk is a rain or shine event. If Mother Nature doesn't quit dropping this rain, make sure you bring an umbrella and raincoat!
