Bottle babies need immediate placement. We can split them up into pairs. Maybe two weeks old? Eyes aren't open, no mom. Shelter listed as some sort of boxer mix.

Every dog is different -- and breed doesn't dictate temperament.

Can you judge a dog by its breed?

Multiple peer-reviewed studies (like the 2008 study referenced here) have found that breed and appearance are highly inaccurate predictors of behavior, including aggression.

Behavioral tendencies (such as friendliness or aggression) vary widely within the same breed -- even within the same litter. No single trait is exclusive to any specific type of dog.

Dogs are individuals.

Every dog's temperament is a complex blend of his or her environment, training, socialization, and lived experience.

And because every dog's lived experience is different, no two dogs will have the same temperament or disposition.

Science says you CANNOT judge a dog by its breed.

Veterinary associations, animal welfare groups, and animal control organizations believe you SHOULD NOT judge a dog by its breed or appearance.

Every dog, regardless of breed, deserves the chance to be seen and evaluated for the unique individual they are.

Owner is losing their housing and I need placements by FRIDAY.

They were born on 03/23 there are 5 girls and 2 boys. They are eating solid puppy food and have great temperament.

Their mom has never shown any signs of aggression and has great temperament as well. They all are doing well with children.

We will microchip, deworm, vaccinate.

Six girls and one boy...5 weeks old.
Heeler/lab/shepherd mix pups--they are sweet little chonks!

We can send them now to fosters in groups of 2 to 3--
Or you can reserve yours for adoption at eight weeks.

We have treated with dewormer, and will be giving them their first set of shots soon.
All pups will be microchipped.

5 Beagle mix pups - 2 females and 3 males, just over 3 months old

They have received first dose of dewormer, have received their first vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention , and we have started their crate and potty training.

They did great in their crates last night, potty training going well!

All very sweet, friendly and playful.

Busy day so far at the rescue. The outdoor runs all have fresh gravel now, this project cost us $2700.
We still need to wash all of the outdoor decking/beds, doghouses and swimming pools...

Anyone have any pavers or concrete edges they aren't using? We could use any size to put under dog buckets and swimming pools. It will help keep down on some of the dirt in the water.
