Ashawagh Hall Founded in 1909 from a former school, the Springs Improvement Society oversees, maintains and preserves it.

Originally a school, the building was purchased by the Springs Improvement Society in 1909 and renamed Ashawagh Hall. Ashawagh is the Indian word meaning "place where two roads come together." Today Ashawagh Hall is host to Art Shows and Community Events such as the annual FIsherman's Fair.

Opening Reception: Friday, October 9th, 6 - 9 pm

Please join me and many of my artist peers for an Indigenous People’s Day weekend exhibition at Ashawagh Hall in Springs! Many of the artists in this show are local, emerging, less-exposed, and incredibly talented. The exhibition includes two-dimensional and three-dimensional art and design with an opening reception Friday, October 9th from 6-9pm, and a sound bath offering by Kate Kavanaugh on Sunday, October 11th at 12 noon!
