The Visionary Club of Greater Springfield The Visionary Club of Greater Springfield was birthed in May of 2011 for social support for those who are blind or visually impaired.

The Visionary Club was born in 2011. We started as a support club for the blind and visually impaired, but realized through supporting each other we could encourage independence among ourselves regardless of disability. In the midst of having disabilities of our own, we want to help others in the community. As a Club, we have supported many organizations including the Ronald McDonald House, Shrine

rs Hospital, the Dakin Animal Shelter, Red Cross, Friends of the Homeless, victims of tornado disaster in 2011 and children in schools local to Springfield. We are always looking for ways to expand what we do in the community, and could use the support of any and all who are interested in our mission.
