This pandemic has shown me the true struggles of the people of my city and county during the pandemic alot of families faced a financial struggle dealing with covid and in the process got behind on bills, or lost housing as a whole due to landlords raising the price of rent while not up keeping their property.

Landlords buying up property in low income neighborhoods doing small cheap repairs then renting the property out for double the rent in which drives out low income, and even struggling working families from communities, the city, and even the county.

We ask all local, county, state officials of the city of Springfield and Robertson County to unite hear the needs and voices of the people create wats to bring more affordable housing to our city and county. We all must realize and address that lack of affordable housing is a problem in our city also over the county and state of Tennessee. The low income, the hard working families of our city deserves affordable housing that fit everyone financial needs.

Hey parents the City Of Springfield is needing 5 more youth girls to sign up and play basketball this season. If you have a girl or know a family member, friend, or neighbor with girls that wants to play Jr Pro Basketball head down to the Springfield Parks and Recreation "The Center" ask to talk to Seth the sports director for the city girls basketball sign ups..

Any youth age girls that wants to play basketball still have a chance to play they are needing 5 girls to finish the girls division.

We need transparency we do not need leaders who wish to hide and hold private meetings without letting the people of this state know what they meeting about.

Governor Lee always talk about transparency but since he have been elected their have been alot of secret back door meeting held by state leaders..

The meeting was not announced to media or the public.

How can we say we the volunteer state how about our state law makers start putting our kids educational needs first. Every year our state legislature can find ways to spend on everything else besides our teachers and our students.

All the money we having in rainy day funds should be used to better our schools invest in teacher pay raises while at same time hiring more teachers to make sure our kids have the best funding, learning, and tools needed to graduate school.

There is no reason our state should be #43 in the country in education spending the money should follow the kid, we must invest in tools and resources that will help our kids grow to be the educated future leaders we all want them to be.

I hear state leaders "Super Majority" say they all about the kids well show us parents that you really care by investing in our kids education, our kids future. We must stop reckless spending and start investing in our educational system, and in the lives of our educators.

(C.A.R.E.S.) Christian Awareness Restoration Ex-offender Services. They are working with ex offenders on issues that is holding alot of ex offenders back once released back into society such as jobs, education, and housing. I'm personally glad someone have taken the step to work with ex offenders in our city and county. The amount of passion the bells have shown the citizens of our community over the years truly says alot. So if you are a non profit or you know anyone who may need help that needs help finding resources or help after release from incarceration please contact them.
