Annie would tell you "the sun'll come out tomorrow".... but DYW of Nebraska would tell you that our application deadline for the Class of 2027 is TOMORROW (Wed, March 25) and you can "bet your bottom dollar" your application needs to be received by midnight - transcript, talent video and the scheduling of your virtual interview.

We love our Omaha Golden K Kiwanis! Not only are they a scholarship sponsor, but the club members volunteers each year as mock interviewers during our Interview Skills Workshop during our state program weekend. We were excited to visit the club this morning and share our scholarship story along with Natasha and Jinyee providing some amazing entertainment.

Welcome to March! It's also the final month to apply to be a part of the Distinguished Young Women of Nebraska Scholarship Program. Current high school Juniors make sure you have your completed applications (transcript, talent video, virtual interview) submitted BEFORE the March 25 deadline. Those accepted to the state program will be notified (either way) by April 15.

It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of one of our dedicated volunteers - Marti Welch. Marti was part of our committee for years and served in so many ways, especially talented when it came to grocery donations! We will miss you dearly Marti.
