Scouts develop a love of service by volunteering in the community, boost their leadership skills through fun and exciting challenges, and create memories of a lifetime with no prior experience required! Established in 2019, Troop 1853G is located in Springfield, Virginia, and is part of the Burke Lake District, whi

⚜️ Yesterday, Scouts from Troop 1853G volunteered to as part of Miaya’s Eagle Scout Service Project to support the Greater DC Diaper Bank by helping sort and inventory donations collected over the last six weeks. In total, over 10,000 diapers, 2,000 pull-ups, and 30,000 wipes were collected to help families in need. Great job, Scouts! 👏⚜️

Today, Scouts and volunteers came together to support an Eagle Scout Service Project benefiting the DC Diaper Bank. Through their hard work and the generosity of donors, they collected diapers, pull-ups, and wipes to help families in our local community. 🌿⚜️ **Service in Action!** ⚜️🌿

Yesterday, Scouts from Troop 1853 participated in a community service project at the church where they hold their meetings. The Scouts worked hard to beautify the property by tending the garden and lawns, w**d eating, and revitalizing the free library. They also cleaned and organized the shed and chuck boxes, helping ensure everything is ready for future activities. Their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to giving back made a visible difference. 👏 Great job, Scouts of Troop 1853! Thank you for living the Scout Oath and Law through service to others.
