Last weekend, Local 178 members came together for our annual Heats On program — providing free furnace tune-ups and safety checks for our neighbors in need across the Springfield area.

It’s one of our favorite traditions — using our skills to keep our community warm, safe, and cared for as the cold weather moves in.

We want to say thank you to all of our HVAC technicians and apprentices who volunteered their time and expertise to make this event a success.

We also want to recognize our incredible contractors — WMC Mechanical, Connelly-Waldinger, Cerris Systems, Hussmann, Integrated Facility Services, & U.S. Engineering— for providing the vans, tools, and support that made the day possible.

And a special thank you to Goodman Distribution for their generous donation and continued partnership in serving our community.
