Stand 4 Springfield

Stand 4 Springfield It all began in October of 2023 when Andy Drennen and Steve Eiffert partnered to create a fund raiser for the Youth Connect Center.

Stand for education
Stand for organizations that provide food and shelter relief
Stand for individual physical, emotional and psychological safety
Stand for social action The event raised nearly $5000 and encouraged the duo to host a second event for the Harmony House in December of the same year
Heartened by the respose and support they received, they launched Stand For Springfield in early

2024. The 501c3 nonprofit had a simple mission. Invest to improve the quality of life for people most at risk in our community.

RESULTS: You guys are amazing! Your gifts touched so many lives in different parts of our city. Check it out!…

1. Grants of $12,500
- $3,500 to Harmony House to help families escaping domestic violence
- $3,500 to Isabel's House to give safe nights of sleep to children ages 0-12
- $2,500 to Youth Connect Center to help homeless teens get the items they need and spend warm nights indoors instead of on the streets
- $1,500 which will make 4,500 meals for school kids who would otherwise go without food over the weekend through Ozarks Food Harvest
- $1,000 to Gathering Friends that provided 55 overnight beds for homeless men who would otherwise sleep out in the cold, in addition to 22 steel-towed wook boots for those who just got jobs
- $500 to The World Needs You which will provide tennis shoes for elementary kids in Title 1 Schools
- Hundreds of toys for our youth in shelters to have something to smile about after a tough year. We had so many toys we were able to pour over 100 into Crosslines
- Provided thousands of school supplies to Title One schools Fremont, Bingham, Mark Twain, and Westport for the spring semester
- Finally, one green Christmas dress for a 7-year old girl who just checked into Isabel’s House. She needed a dress for her Christmas play to fit in with her friends, green is her favorite color and we delivered! She felt so pretty and couldn’t be happier.🥺🥲

As an added surprise, the Where House Bar with help from RC FLEA MART and their customers gathered donation items, and boy did they step up!

Media picked up our movement including Ozarks First, Yahoo News, and our good friends at the Springfield Business Journal…pick up a copy Christmas week!

🎓 GRADUATION HOPE CELEBRATION – YOU'RE INVITED!

This isn’t just another concert—it’s a celebration of resilience, growth, and hope.

Three years ago, the Youth Connect Center (YCC) opened its doors to Springfield’s most vulnerable teens—those without stable housing, safe communities, or anyone to cheer them on. Since then, they’ve helped over 1,000 youth stay in school, eat nourishing meals, and feel like they belong.

Last year, four students walked across the stage. This year, eight will. And dozens more are staying in school, thanks to the ongoing support of the community.

But we can’t do this without YOU. 💛

Our goal is to raise $7,000 to fund school-related expenses for the year—and your support makes all the difference.

Come for the music, stay for the mission. Enjoy cold brews, great company, and an inspiring cause.

Presented by Stand for Springfield, a volunteer-led force for good, and hosted by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.

💥 Let’s show up. Let’s stand together. Let’s invest in their future.
