Agriculture is truly for everyone, no matter your background or experience. While I grew up in an agriculture-focused family, being part of 4-H has helped me expand my knowledge and appreciation even more.
You don’t need a farm to be involved in agriculture. Whether it’s growing crops in a field or tending to plants on your countertop, there are so many ways to make agriculture a part of your everyday life.

The perfect ending to an unforgettable Spring Kickoff!
Getting to spend this weekend with Miss America is a memory I will cherish forever. As a fellow theater kid, it meant so much to swap stories and laugh about all things theater
But beyond the excitement, we also took a moment to honor Rene Shelton and her incredible service to the Miss Illinois Opportunity. Once her girl, always her girl 🤍 I will forever cherish the impact she had on my life and the lives of so many others.
There is truly nothing like getting to experience moments like this alongside my Miss Illinois family. Including Judy Ford Nash our own forever Miss Illinois and Miss America 1969! Today at the Miss Illinois Spring Kickoff, we kicked things off with a tour of the Old State Capitol, walking the same halls where Abraham Lincoln once served as a legislator and delivered his famous “House Divided” speech.

Honoring my Irish roots today ☘️ my Scots-Irish heritage has always been a huge part of my life.
Irish dance has always been such a special part of my growing up, something passed down through my family and close to my heart. I even took Gaelic (though these days I mostly just remember líomanáid 😂).
Forever proud of the legacy, the culture, and the little pieces of Ireland and the Highlands that will always be part of me 💚 may the luck of the Irish be with you now and always. May the road rise to meet you and the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm on your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
