Saddle up for another exciting season of Ranch Versatility at the Baca County Fair Grounds Arena! Join us for great competition, good company, and a summer full of ranch horse action.

📍 All events held at the Baca County Fair Grounds Arena

* Registration starts 1 hour before show time
* Participants may enter up to 2 horses
* Entry Fee = $135 per entry (includes stock fees and class fees)
* Age Divisions: 8-10, 11-14, 15-Adult
* You must participate in at least three shows to be eligible for the series awards and buckles

Classes include ranch reining, ranch trail, fence work/cattle boxing, steer stop, and a mystery class (just for fun, bonus class).

🎡 Calling All Community Groups! 🎡

The Baca County Fair Board is looking for a group or organization to host and run the Kiddie Carnival at this year’s fair!
This is a fun and rewarding opportunity to create a memorable experience for our youngest fairgoers while also serving as a great fundraiser for your group.

What’s included:
✨ Space provided under the grandstands
✨ Full freedom to design your own games and activities
✨ Set your own prices, provide prizes, and keep the proceeds

What you’ll need to provide:
🔹 A great attitude, lots of energy, and a creative spirit!
🔹 Your own games, booths, and supplies
🔹 Volunteers to set up, run, and manage the carnival for (at least) Thursday, Friday, Saturday of Fair Week

This has been a popular and successful part of the fair for years, and we’re excited to see someone bring their own ideas and fresh energy to it!

🎉 Call for Nominations: 2026 Baca County Fair & Rodeo Parade Marshal 🎉

Each year the Baca County Fair & Rodeo honors a community member by selecting a Parade Marshal to lead the annual parade. This tradition recognizes individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the Baca County Fair & Rodeo and who represent the spirit and values of our county.

For 2026, the Parade Marshal will be selected from the Campo area as part of our rotating community tradition.

We are looking for someone who:
⭐ Has made a significant contribution to the Baca County Fair & Rodeo
⭐ Demonstrates strong community spirit and involvement
⭐ Represents Baca County with pride

If you know someone from the Campo area who deserves this honor, we encourage you to submit a nomination! Nominations can be submitted by messaging us here on Facebook or by commenting below.

Please include the nominee’s name and (optionally) a brief description of why they should be selected as the 2026 Baca County Fair & Rodeo Parade Marshal. The final selection will be made by the Baca County Fair Board.

This isn’t just a ride—it’s a tradition.

The whale ride has carried generations of Baca County kids, and now it needs our help. The bottoms are worn (and the whales are beaten and bruised) and they must be repaired to keep the ride safe and operating.

We’re restoring all 8 whales at a cost of $1,500+ each. The fair board has already restored one; now we are looking for sponsors to help us restore the remaining 7!

🎨 Sponsors get to:
• Pick the whale’s paint scheme
• Add a family name or business logo
• Be part of preserving fair history
