Rotary Club of Springfield Sunrise "Service above self. One profits most who serves best."

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. Rotary membership provides the opportunity to become connected to your community and work with others in addressing community needs. Rotary also provides members the opportunity to interact with other professionals in your community, assist with RI's international humanitarian service efforts, establish contacts with an international network of professionals and develop leadership skills all while encouraging the involvement of our member's family's in promoting service efforts.

On Wednesday we had an action packed morning. We kicked off our Sunrise Rotary meeting with 3 Paul Harris Fellow Awards: Darcy Parrish, Chad Courtney and Brandon Bowenschulte. Shad Becker completed his new member packet and got his red sticker removed! Our sarge brought some fun minute to win it games and trivia for the October Birthdays. Last but not least, we finished our meeting by listening to Jason Hynson share with us all about Victory Mission and all they are doing in our community!

Let’s keep our undefeated status going strong and chip in to see our very own Darcy Parrish get slimed!

The 10th Annual Double Dare Fundraiser is coming up on Thursday, October 15.
Every dollar = one vote, and the candidate with the most votes will get SLIMED at the event!

Every dollar helps support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks and their mission to ignite the power and promise of youth through one-to-one mentoring.

Let’s rally together, Sunrise Rotary!
