Alzheimer’s is a disease which currently cannot be cured; only maintained. The profits from all keys we collect will be used to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy, fighting for critical Alzheimer's research, prevention, and care initiatives at the state and federal levels. In addition to providing funds, recycling

metal reduces pollution, saves resources, reduces waste going to landfills, and prevents the destruction of habitats. Producing recycled metal reduces the carbon dioxide emissions by more than 80 percent.

Ralph Paul MILLER

News Death Notice

MILLER, Ralph Paul "RPM" 83, of Springfield, passed away October 6, 2012. He was born June 30, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ralph was a dedicated member of the Liedertafel Club and the Springfield Noon Sertoma Club for many years. After 25 yrs of service, He retired from Consolidated Insurance in 1996.

Ralph was a proud alum of The Ohio State University and served in US ARMY.

Survivors include four children; Mike Miller, Springfield, Tom Miller, Denver, Colorado, Donna (Jeff) Lyday and Jennifer Foreman (Jim Gray) Springfield, seven grandchildren; Jessica, Corey, Nicole, Sarah, Nic, Lindsay and Olivia, five great grandchildren; Ryan, Kylee, Mikayla, K'Leyah and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife; Charlotte Miller in 1997, a brother Bob just last month; sisters; Helen & Elaine, his parents and his dog; Minnie.

A celebration of Ralph's life will be held Friday, October 12 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM in the Forest Glen Community Center, 2150 Montego Drive, Springfield.

Mr. Miller's family would like to give special thanks to the Forest Glen Legacy Staff and Odyssey Hospice for all of their wonderful care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley. 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Suite G100, Dayton, Ohio 45449.

Who's up for a walk? Getting a team together for the Walk To End Alzheimer's. The walk starts at Antioch College in Yellow Springs Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. Check-in begins at 9am, walk begins at 10am. I need at least 10 team members. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Jen
PS... The walk is between 2-3 miles.

Finally....with the help of a really good friend(Thanks Jessi Arvin) my Keys for Thoughts non-profit organization is no longer a dream. Anyone can help by collecting and donating unused keys. So start checking the junk drawer and look around the house for those unwanted keys. Ask family and friends to help out for a great cause. Drop off containers are being made and will be distributed to area businesses. I'll even stop by to pick them up if you can't drop them off.
