Summer has officially started.

Sunshine. Cold water. Big laughs. New friendships. Fish stories.

The kind of memories that young men will talk about for years.

We're only getting started, but if these first few days are any indication, it's going to be an incredible summer. Thankful for the volunteers, guides, parents, and supporters who make moments like this possible.

Here's to a summer full of adventure, growth, and lives changed by Jesus.

There is something powerful about the body of Christ coming together in prayer. 🙏

This week, please join us in praying for our Boys Fishing Camp and Girls Ram Camp.

Please pray today for protection & safety:
"The Lord will keep you from all harm..." — Psalm 121:7-8

Pray for:
• Safe travels to and from camp
• Protection during all activities and adventures
• Health and well-being for campers, leaders, and volunteers
• Protection of mind, body, and spirit from accidents, illness, injury, and spiritual attacks
• God's peace, presence, and provision throughout the week

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer. We believe God hears and answers, and we're trusting Him to do great things in the lives of these youth this week.

Fishing Camp #1 is officially underway, and we can't wait to hear all the fish stories that come out of this week.

Some of those stories will probably get bigger every time they're told. 🎣

As the boys hit the water, we'd love your prayers. Pray for safe travels, great memories, meaningful conversations, lives changed forever by the Gospel, and of course... plenty of big fish in the boat.

It's going to be a great week at camp.

We've posted pictures of hogs. We've posted pictures of fish. We've posted pictures of the adventures and memories being made this week.

But none of that matters more than this moment right here.

This is why we do what we do.

Every camp, every fundraiser, every volunteer hour, every mile driven, every late night on the water or in the woods is ultimately about helping young people encounter Jesus Christ.

The fish will be forgotten. The stories will eventually fade. But a life surrendered to Christ has eternal significance.

This summer at Cross Trail Outfitters Missouri Ultimate Summer Camps, our theme verse is Philippians 3:14 — a reminder to keep pressing forward in faith, purpose, and pursuit of Jesus Christ. 🎯

Through outdoor adventures, mentorship, worship, community, and encounters with Jesus, we’re praying this generation learns what it means to fix their eyes on Him and keep moving toward the calling God has placed on their lives.

As camp season begins, please join us in praying for intimate relationships with the Lord to be formed, for salvations and baptisms, and for lives to be forever changed through the power of Jesus.

This week at Missouri CTO Summer Camps, the boys are walking through the life of Joseph under our theme verse:

“I press on toward the goal…” – Philippians 3:14

Joseph’s story is powerful because it reminds us that following God doesn’t mean life will always be easy. Joseph faced betrayal, loneliness, false accusations, uncertainty, and seasons where it probably felt like God had forgotten him.

But through every high and low… God was with him.

That same truth matters for these young men sitting around campfires, riding in boats, walking through the woods, and trying to figure out who they are becoming. Many of them are carrying struggles, questions, hurt, fear, or uncertainty about their own future.

Our prayer is that they leave these camps understanding they can keep pressing on too. That God still has purpose in the middle of hardship. That their story isn’t over. And that no matter what life throws at them… God is faithful to walk with them through it.
