The PTA Clothing Bank

Our East (Glenstone & Bennett) Wash House donation drop is FULL for a moment!

This is the BEST kind of problem to have. We just need a hot minute to dig ourselves out. 🤣👕👖🧦

We’ll let you know as soon as we’re ready for more. Thank you for always showing up for our SPS students! ❤️

It’s Apple Season! 🍎

Here’s a great way to support our partners, Kiwanis Club - Ozark Empire !

🍎 OCTOBER IS APPLE MONTH! 👟
The Kiwanis Club of Ozark Empire is selling apples throughout the month of October to support our Shoes for Kids program, which provides FREE new shoes to Springfield Public Schools students in need.
When you buy apples from Kiwanis, you’re helping put new shoes on the feet of local kids — while getting some delicious apples for yourself! ❤️

👟 This is a step in the right direction!

We love to see our SPS PTAs supporting the PTA Clothing Bank! Let’s step up and help local students, one pair at a time!

Glendale PTSA is teaming up with the PTA Clothing Bank to collect gently used athletic shoes for SPS students. There will be a drop off bin outside the main office October 12th-16th. Please donate gently used athletic shoes that are clean and in wearable condition. All sizes are needed! Thank you, Glendale, for supporting The PTA Clothing Bank! 💙❤️

A big thank you to our friends from Jack Henry for volunteering with us today! 💙 They helped us get our coats out on the floor, organized and ready for cooler weather! 🧥

Can’t make it to the Clothing Bank on our shopping Thursdays? I’ll drop some other upcoming community coat events in the comments below so families have more options! ❤️

We know she’s in there. 👀

That bag of clothes that’s been riding around in your trunk for 3 weeks… 3 months… possibly since last school year. 😆

Consider this her official eviction notice.

The PTA Clothing Bank would LOVE to have her! We serve SPS students from early childhood through 12th grade and accept school-appropriate clothing, free of holes and stains, size 3T and up, plus shoes, pajamas, bras, accessories, coats and jackets. New socks and underwear are always needed, too!

📍 Drop donations at either Springfield Wash House location:
1755 E. Bennett or 3322 S. Campbell

Or message us to coordinate a drop-off directly at the Clothing Bank.

Free the bag. Clear the trunk. Clothe some kids. ❤️

755 clothing shoppers. 👚
705 shoe shoppers. 👟
One very busy back-to-school shopping week! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to our donors who keep our shelves stocked, our volunteers who gave their time (and survived the chaos 😆), and every family who came through and shopped with us this week.

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up for SPS students year after year. We couldn’t do this without you!

Happy back-to-school, Springfield! ✏️📚

We will be back September 3rd. Look for our full schedule pinned at the top of our page! 🛍️

If you are coming to the Kiwanis Club of Ozark Empire shoe fitting today, for hygiene safety, please make sure your student is wearing socks! 🧦 🧦 🧦

IT’S CLOTHING DAY 2! 👚🩲🧦👖

A few reminders before you come:

📍 This event is for current students of Springfield Public Schools, Springfield, MO.

🪪 You MUST have your student’s SPS ID number. This includes students just starting kindergarten or preschool. We use this number to confirm enrollment and get your student’s account set up for the new school year. If you don’t have it, just call the school your student will be attending and ask for it before you come!

🚗 Please use the parking lot and designated parking spaces so we can be respectful of our neighbors and the grounds.

☀️ Plan for a wait outside. Mother Nature is turning the thermostat back up tomorrow, so please come prepared for the heat, know what your body can handle, and take care of yourself.

🛝 Please do not use the nursery playground. We want to keep that area safe and clean for the nursery babies.

❤️ And finally, please be kind and respectful to everyone in line, and shop as quickly as you can so we can keep things moving and get everyone out of the heat!

We’re excited to see you! 👚👖🧦❤️
