Last Saturday, neighbors in the Phelps Grove and University Heights neighborhoods came together to create cleaner, safer, and more beautiful communities. Services included recycling and disposal of scrap metal, cardboard, electronics, vapes, brush, limited tires, and redistribution of usable items.

𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩𝐬 remove hundreds of tons of trash each year, helping keep our community clean for everyone to live, work, and play. These events are made possible through partnerships with the City of Springfield, MO, Computer Recycling Center, and Republic Services.

CPO’s 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 program helps strengthen families by connecting parents and caregivers with education, resources, and support that promote healthy child development and family well-being.

As part of CPO’s 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 program, we hold an annual 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, bringing together childcare professionals, home visitors, and family support partners to learn new strategies for supporting local children and families. In 2025, 𝟏𝟎𝟗 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, leaving with valuable tools, resources, and connections to better serve those in their care.
