Our Safe Baby Court Coordinator, Madeline, and Presiding Magistrate Stark recently attended ZERO TO THREE's 20th Annual Safe Baby Cross Sites Conference in Boston, MA, where they collaborated with other Safe Baby Court sites across the United States, discussed best practices, and learned more about how to best serve our community in Robertson County. Our goal is to improve our day-to-day approaches to prioritize infant and child mental health first and encourage expedited permanency for all children involved in Safe Baby Court. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from each other in a collaborative environment and put these ideas into practice in the future!

As an additional positive, we also got to experience some of what the wonderful city of Boston has to offer😉

Recently we celebrated a major milestone at Robertson County Safe Baby Court! 🎉 We've had the privilege of witnessing this family's remarkable growth and transformation, and it's a testament to the power of dedication and perseverance. Being part of Safe Baby Court requires a daily commitment to change, but with the collective support of our community, experts, and loved ones, this family has proven that it's possible to overcome any obstacle and thrive. As we gathered in the courtroom, once a place of uncertainty, we were surrounded by laughter, conversation, and a sense of pride. It was a reminder that with the right support, anyone can unlock their full potential and create a brighter future. We're honored to have been part of this family's journey and can't wait to see the amazing things they'll achieve! 💫 Here's to Robertson County's 4th graduating family and to many more in the future! ❤

July 22 is National Brain Day! 🧠

Every interaction in a child's early years helps build the foundation for lifelong brain health. National Brain Day is an opportunity to recognize the importance of nurturing relationships, early developmental screening, and timely support for children with developmental and neurological differences, including autism. Together, we can help every child reach their full potential.

This is what Safe Baby Court is all about: Community. Yesterday on 5/21/2026, our community was blessed enough to gather around a family graduating SBC and have a moment of togetherness to celebrate the wonderful achievement of these parents and celebrate safety and permanency for their children.

A courtroom is often an emotionally charged place; it is a place that can sometimes see the worst moments of someone’s life. With that said, there is hope in a courtroom as well. Hope for a better future for the families and children in our community, and hope to find oneself better than when they started.
It can be a place of second chances and a place of togetherness, and its days like yesterday that make the difficult journey worth it. Thank you to everyone in our community who work tirelessly to serve as the ‘village’ for those who need one, and thank you to our family for all the work you put into getting to this point.

To Robertson County’s second SBC graduation, and for many more to come!🎉🎂
