The Rotary Club of Springfield South Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 grantmaking process! The Foundation will award a limited number of $1,000 grants to Springfield-area charitable organizations are tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The deadline to apply is April 16th! This year's grant application can be found online at www.rotarysouth-spi.org on the left side of our homepage under "Download Information."

It's time once again for our annual Beef Raffle! This year, one lucky winner will receive a black angus gourmet beef package courtesy of BUNN Gourmet and another winner will receive a grilling package courtesy of CLP Insurance Solutions, LLC ! Tickets are only $10 each, and all proceeds benefit our holiday party for Compass for Kids. You can contact your favorite Springfield South Rotarian for tickets or just send us a direct message!

We are very sad to hear of the passing of long-time Rotary Club of Springfield South member Kelly Grant. Kelly always brought a warm smile, a kind demeanor, and a good all-around "Rotary Vibe" to our meetings and service projects, and we will miss him tremendously.

This evening, we had an incredible time with Compass for Kids at the Blackhawk Christmas Party. Thank you for allowing us to share this experience with your kids. It was a blessing for our members.

This week's meeting was a Rotary on the Road! Thank you to Chris Edmonds for giving us a tour of the BDM (Building Maintenance) Lab at the Workforce Institute at Lincoln Land Community College. This beautiful new facility trains students in multiple aspects of the commercial construction industry and prepares them to be successful on the job site!
