Join us for our core summer retreat: Loving Awareness in the Living World 🌸

How do we find peace and truth in a fractured world? By remembering the spacious, loving awareness that already exists within us.

From July 24 to August 3, join Lama Willa Blythe Baker, Lama Liz Monson, and Sarah Buie for a transformative 10-day retreat. In collaboration with the Council on the Uncertain Human Future, we will move beyond self-judgment and back into the living web of the world.

Join us for Summer Solstice Celebration! 🌿✨

Celebrate the fullness of summer and the height of the light from wherever you are. Join Lama Liz Monson and the EcoDharma sangha for an online Summer Solstice Celebration on June 21st.

We encourage you to come to this gathering ready to construct and share a “wild altar” as part of our online ritual practice. The wild altar might include plants, photos, stones, shells and other reminders of nature’s bounty. Also consider having a candle, fragrant plant (local to your area) and incense (or an essential oil with diffuser). We encourage you to point your camera toward your altar during this time so we may share in one another’s sacred creativity.

Early in May, enthusiastic volunteers gathered at Wonderwell putting their hands and hearts to work while enjoying conversation and delicious meals. Morning mantras set the tone as we spruced up the gardens, prepared wildflower beds, cleaned up brush and leaves, deep cleaned corners and organized newly arrived dharma swag in the bookstore. NDF offers a deep bow of gratitude to new and seasoned sangha who checked off chunks of our to-do list.

This Pride Month, we hold space for the very real emotional weight many in our LGBTQIA+ community and sangha are carrying due to recent exclusionary policies and divisive rhetoric. It is natural to feel bewildered by the vitriol in the world today. Yet, this is exactly where our practice meets life.

Together, we can support one another in keeping our hearts open and meeting hostility with fierce, active compassion.
It is more vital now than ever to promote equal rights and protection for those in harm’s way, commit to compassion and understanding, and loudly honor our beautiful rainbow of human being-ness. This Pride Month, we invite you to identify one small thing you can do to promote belonging and inclusion within our Sangha and beyond. Through our collective practice we can co-create a harmonious society where embodiment is honored without judgment, gender fluidity is welcomed with an open heart, and belonging is unconditional.

May all beings—of every body, identity, and expression—feel seen, welcomed, and free!

Starting May 20, our weekly in-person meditation sessions at Wonderwell are moving to WEDNESDAYS.

We’ll still be meeting from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, just on a new night! We hope this mid-week shift offers you a perfect moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect. 🧘🌿
