Today is National Drug Endangered Children Awareness Day. Learn more about your role in helping to reduce the incidence of drug exposed children. The Greene County Alliance meets the 3rd Friday of each month at 8:30 am at Community Partnership of the Ozarks.

While we think that every day should be DEC Awareness Day, the fourth Wednesday of every April as DEC Awareness Day, which also corresponds with Child Abuse Awareness Month. As you may already know, are affected by their parent's substance abuse and drug activity every day. Often times these affects are in the form of child abuse and neglect...so this is a great opportunity to bring light to during a month that many are already focusing on children.

On DEC Awareness Day, we encourage professionals, families, and communities to raise awareness around . Why you ask? Well it is pretty simple... because we all want healthy children and families, right!
