As we remember the horrific events of October 7 three years ago, it is almost too painful to look back. And yet, we must remember.
Let us set our hearts before the Lord and humble ourselves again in His presence. May He look upon His people with compassion, “to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion” (Isaiah 61:2–3).
We seek Your face, Lord. Bring into the light what has been hidden. Let truth prevail over deception, justice over evil, and mercy over hatred. Go before us and make the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2).
Above all, we pray for the day when Yeshua takes His rightful place on the throne of His father David, when the King reigns in righteousness, and when peace flows from Jerusalem like a river (Isaiah 66:12).
Until that day, keep us faithful, humble, watchful, and unwavering in prayer, trusting that “He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:4).
We remember. We mourn. We pray. And we continue to look toward Jerusalem with hope.
