The Mass AFL-CIO has endorsed two State Rep. candidates with September 1st primaries! If you live in Springfield's 11th Hampden District or Holyoke's 5th Hampden District, make sure you go to the polls next Tuesday!

We're proud to support Johnnie McKnight and Rep. Pat Duffy. As a Springfield teacher, McKnight already knows what it means to serve the community. We know he'll stand up for union members in Western Mass if we send him to Beacon Hill. Meanwhile, Rep. Duffy has a long record of voting with unions in the legislature. She is facing a conservative challenger who would put business interests ahead of working families.

The Western Mass Area Labor Federation (AFL-CIO) stands with workers at the Eric Carle Museum as they prepare for their union election with UAW Local 2110.

By choosing to form a union, these 36 workers are taking a crucial step to defend their rights and fight for better wages and working conditions on the job.

As a coalition comprising over 50 unions representing over 50,000 workers in Western Massachusetts, we call on management of the Eric Carle Museum to refrain from any interference in the election.
