Registration is now open for the 2027 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Springfield!
Due to increasing costs, registration rates for this year have changed. Please note the new fees established for each entry type:
• Not-for-profits: $100
• Just for Fun (families, etc. that do not promote a business, organization or political candidate): $100
• Commercial (for profit businesses, non-government entities): $400
• Non-elected government agency: $400
• Political entries: $500
Please remember that funding raised goes to local charities after expenses for the parade are paid. Last year, we were able to award $10,000 to The Downtown Springfield Heritage Foundation, an organization chosen by the 2026 Grand Marshalls, Court and Karen Conn.
Registration can be done online at https://stpatsdayparade.com/signuppage1/ Due to demand, this year we will be limiting registrations to the first 100. Registration closes February 28, 2027.
We are also now securing sponsors for the 2027 parade! Sponsors help us give more to charity, and we are always looking for new sponsors!
The 2027 St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2027. The parade steps off at the “craic of noon” and begins on Jefferson and Fifth Street, travels south on Fifth, turns left onto Capitol, then left again on Sixth Street and heads north to Washington, where it ends. It runs one mile in distance.
