New Pioneers partnered with the Loretto Community yesterday morning to host a Fall Birding Hike featuring migratory species! 🐦🦅🦉🌲
We started the morning talking about fall migratory periods and species that pass through Kentucky. A highlight of the event was a Belted Kingfisher spotted diving into Joseph’s Lake.
Thank you to all of our bird watchers for attending!
Special thanks to Mary Ann Strehle for sharing your bird knowledge and volunteering to lead the hike! 🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♂️
