New Pioneers was delighted to partner with the Loretto Community last week for the Head Start field trip to the Loretto Motherhouse Farm! πŸ‘πŸŒž

This exciting morning featured a "Rainbow in Nature" walk with New Pioneers, nature music with Mr. Michael, butter-making and goat encounters with the Loretto Motherhouse, and farm animal bowling and sunflower planting with the Marion County 4-H. 🌈🐐🎡

This opportunity allowed local youth to become more familiar with the great outdoors and expand their knowledge of local species! 🧠🌳

New Pioneers had a spectacular morning with the Kindergarten, First, and Second grade classes at Lebanon Elementary School this week to kick off their Primary Outdoor Classroom Series! πŸ‘

During this visit, students participated in "Backyard Bark & Beaks" activities to explore the tree life cycle, parts of a tree, and local bird species. 🌳🐦

Students enjoyed movement through an interactive story and a modeling game, practiced their bird-call skills, and created bird feeders to take home and observe more birds! 😊

Thank you to Lebanon Elementary School for inviting New Pioneers to participate in this fun-filled morning! πŸ’š
