IEA Region 47

IEA Region 47 Region 47 is composed of twenty-four local associations with over 1,400 IEA-NEA members. Meetings are open to ALL members!

Representatives meet semi-monthly to collaborate regarding issues within the regional, state, and national levels.

IEA's legislation on Notice to Remedy, SB 2914, passed out of the Illinois House of Representatives. It passed the Illinois Senate in April, and both chambers passed the bill with veto-proof majorities. It now awaits Gov. JB Pritzker’s signature to become law.
