SWMO NOW

SWMO NOW Currently, SWMO NOW is the official NOW chapter of Springfield, Missouri and the surrounding communities.

Since its founding in 1966, NOW’s purpose is to take action through intersectional grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life. The SWMO NOW chapter focuses on: Elimination of violence against women, reproductive rights, promotin

g diversity and ending racism, ILGBTQ civil rights and marriage equality, ending s*x discrimination/constitutional equity, and economic justice.
