Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we enter the blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah — the most beloved days to Allah سبحانه وتعالى — let us reflect deeply on the reality of wealth, guidance, and charity.
History reminds us of the great Nizam of Hyderabad, India, once considered among the richest men in the world.
His treasures, diamond, gold, jewels, and wealth were beyond imagination.
Yet, despite his enormous riches and power, many scholars mention that he was not blessed with the opportunity to perform Hajj during his lifetime.
This teaches us a powerful lesson:
Not every wealthy person is granted the honor and acceptance from Allah to spend in His path.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى says in the Qur’an:
“And you do not will except that Allah wills.”
(Surah Al-Insan 76:30)
And Allah says:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that grows seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. Allah multiplies for whom He wills.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)
Our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth.”
(Sahih Muslim)
And he ﷺ also said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim)
Dear AMP Community,
Today, Allah has opened the doors for us to participate in completing His house — the new American Momin Park Masjid. This is not merely a construction project; it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah that will continue benefiting us even after our death.
Many billionaires pass away leaving behind wealth, properties, and businesses. But only a few are chosen by Allah to invest in something that continues rewarding them in the grave and on the Day of Judgment.
By the mercy of Allah and the sincere sacrifices of a few dedicated brothers and sisters, I have personally dedicated my knowledge, health, time, and wealth for the sake of Allah to establish this house of worship.
Alhamdulillah, the project is now approximately 93% completed out of a $3.25 million effort.
During these sacred days of Dhul Hijjah, especially on the Day of Arafah, let us not miss this opportunity.
Perhaps Allah has selected YOU to become among the people who help complete His masjid.
Even a small contribution given sincerely may outweigh mountains of wealth that were never spent for Allah.
