It's always fun to learn how our Girls on the Run teams choose to impact their communities at the end of the season! Here are just a few ways our program participants are making a difference!

Our Saviour School - The girls created pom creatures and glued them to positive nots scattered throughout the school. Some pom creatures were also made into puppets that the girls used to perform an original play called "The Big Race" for their afterschool peers.

Ball-Chatham CUSD5's Glenwood Elementary - They cleaned up around the school and playground, and planted flowers. The girls also decorated and wrote positive messages on lunch bags for students to use on the last day of school.

Sherman Elementary School - The team spread kindness and positivity by "pinning" the elementary school. They decorated clothespins with encouraging messages and then pinned them in various places around the school.

YMCA Community Team - The girls made cards and bracelets for moms who utilize services at Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery. The coaches donated items from Mini O'Beirne's wishlist.
