Our Model: Relationship Based Empowerment
Trillions of dollars are poured into alleviating poverty every year with very little impact on the overall statistics. While a meal given in a crisis situation meets a very real need, there is also a need for much more. Elevate Lives is committed to deeply changing lives for generations to come through a relational model of moving families from poverty to
flourishing. We incorporate the components of mentoring, training and housing in the process, and accomplish our goals through collaboration with local churches, businesses, government and nonprofits. Carefully selected families rent homes that have been renovated to reflect the high value God places on each individual. These homes are leased for slightly under market value, with a monthly discount voucher given for completing action steps to move out of poverty which are specifically tailored to their unique situation. As independence is gained, these families give back by helping others along the same path they’ve been down, furthering the work that has been started. With help from people like you, we’re seeing change take place that will multiply and impact generations to come.
