The October meeting is coming up!

Date: Monday, October 12, 2026

Location: Evangel University Cafeteria Rooms, 115A & 115 B
Meal: Pork loin with apple glaze, roasted potato medley, fall seasonal salad with beets, green beans, pecan pie, tea, coffee, and water.
Price: $16

Speaker: Dr. Becky Huechteman, Evangel University alum, Evangel faculty (38 years) and chair of the E.U. Education Department (13 years); currently Professor Emeritus and President of EUA.
Topic: The State of EUA and Evangel University

* September 14: fun, fellowship and creating beautiful baskets for our Homecoming silent auction. Meal: Jerk chicken, island rice, oven-roasted Brussels sprouts, salad, pineapple upside down cake, tea, coffee, and water. RSVP link is in a separate post.

* October 12: Dr. Becky Huechteman, speaker: The State of EUA and Evangel Speech

* November 9: Dr. Michael Kolstad, Interim President of Evangel, speaker

* January 11: Steve Grant (yes, KY3 Steve), speaker

* February 8: Carey Higgins, Evangel alum and substitute teacher extraordinaire!

* March 8: Local Author Panel: Ava MacKinney, Marilyn Quigley, and Tiffany Coryell

* April 12: Chuck Hepola, Evangel's Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach

* May 10: Installation of Officers, review of the year, sale information

Next EUA meeting is coming up!

Location: Evangel university cafeteria conference room
Meal: Jerk chicken, island rice, oven roasted Brussels sprouts, salad, pineapple upside down cake, tea, coffee, and water.

Cost of this delicious meal is $16.

RSVP no later than September 10.

Program: Fun, fellowship, review of our purpose and goals, devotional by Esther Axmark, and preparing baskets for the Homecoming fundraiser. There will be some ribbon and cellophane provided at the meeting for your use.

Membership Dues: If you are not a lifetime member, your dues will need to be turned in at this meeting.

Setup is complete for this year's Colossal Sale in the EU Mabee Center!

Tuesday, 5/19, 4pm-8pm - for EU/AG employees & churches
Wednesday, 5/20, 9am-6pm - Sale
Thursday, 5/21, 9am-6pm - Sale
Friday, 5/22, 9am-6pm - Sale (half off most items!)
Saturday, 5/23, 9am-Noon - Bag Sale (fill a bag for $7)

Donations for the Colossal Sale are being accepted at the EU Mabee Center through Friday (oops! not Saturday!). Many thanks to all who have brought items in so far! Volunteers are sorting and transforming the floor into a proper store.

At our Monday meeting, Vickie Wisdom gave this year's officers their charge to serve. And last month we heard from Steve Gause and got to tour an RD apartment to see renovations!
