Governor Jim Pillen signed a proclamation declaring Saturday, Sept. 27 as National Hunting and Fishing Day in Nebraska. 🏹🎣

The day honors the generations who have grown up contributing to fish and wildlife conservation, and the impact of that industry on Nebraska's communities and the economy.

The 42nd annual celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day is this weekend at Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery in Elbridge. Put on by the Onondaga County Federation of Sportsmen, Sportsmen's Days offers a great chance to explore and try all types of outdoor pursuits in a family friendly setting.
