We exist to rescue and restore victims of sexual slavery through the love and power of God.

Project Rescue is a multinational network of partners who share the same commitment and passion for seeing Hope restored in the lives of survivors of sexual exploitation and slavery. No two partnerships are exactly the same, but all caregivers offer God’s love, liberating truth, and compassionate, holistic care. In each of the areas we serve, leaders and staff work 24/7 with survivors of sexual slavery and trafficking to support them on their journey toward restoration. Life-changing rescue for survivors of sexual exploitation is not a momentary or part-time enterprise. Yes, miracles happen, but genuine freedom with hope for a different future and dignity requires an intensive long-term commitment. Project Rescue caregivers’ compassion takes them in the night to the sides of traumatized women and children reliving the horrors of exploitation and fighting the powers of darkness. But through the prayer and tireless commitment of staff, chains are broken-body, mind, and spirit. Women and children are set free to dream dreams of hope, health, and a new destiny in God.

A natural disaster can change more than a landscape. It can also change the conditions that help keep people safe.

Right now, severe flooding in Nepal and Thailand is disrupting homes, livelihoods, and everyday stability.

For communities already facing vulnerability, disasters can also increase the risk of human trafficking and exploitation.

That’s an important part of disaster recovery that can be harder to see.

The damage may be visible. The vulnerabilities that follow often aren’t.

What happens when girls have the safety and opportunity to imagine more for their future?

In the region of Ecuador where our partner serves, many girls face abuse, child marriage, early motherhood, and limited access to education. These realities can narrow a girl’s choices long before she has the opportunity to decide what she wants her future to hold.

Hope House is helping create another path.

For nearly two decades, girls have found a secure place to live, continue their education, build practical skills, and prepare for greater independence. More than 150 girls have called Hope House home.

This International Day of the Girl, we’re celebrating what becomes possible when girls have room to learn, grow, and choose what comes next.

Mental health care is an essential part of long-term restoration for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Reaching physical safety matters deeply. But safety does not automatically erase the effects of trauma, abuse, and exploitation.

That’s why survivor-centered mental health care matters.

Within Project Rescue programs, counseling and ongoing support create space for survivors to process trauma with care that responds to their individual needs. Because restoration isn’t a single moment or a one-size-fits-all process.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognizing the counselors, caregivers, and local partners who continue showing up for survivors through the long work of restoration.

Mental health care belongs in the conversation about survivor care.

Why is Project Rescue talking about domestic violence?

Because while domestic violence and human trafficking are not the same, their realities can sometimes intersect.

Coercion. Isolation. Financial control. Threats. Housing instability. These can limit a person’s choices and make finding safety more difficult. And in some situations, an abusive partner may also exploit or traffic their partner.

That’s part of why safe places matter so deeply to us.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we want to make space for survivors of domestic violence first—to listen, learn, and recognize that safety is not always as simple as leaving.

If you know someone experiencing domestic violence, listen without judgment and respect their choices. And if you or someone you know needs support, the National Domestic Violence Hotline offers free, confidential help 24/7.

A safe home can change what becomes possible for a child.

A Home of Hope is about more than protection from exploitation. It’s a place where safety and consistent care create room for the everyday parts of childhood to take root.

A bed of their own. People who consistently show up. The freedom to learn, play, build relationships, and imagine what comes next.

That’s what makes the ordinary details in Leena’s story so meaningful.

What does a Home of Hope look like in the Philippines?

For our partner, Happy Horizons Children's Ranch, it looks like showing up day after day.

For years, their team has created places where children can experience safety, continue their education, receive counseling, build practical skills, and be surrounded by a supportive community.

Project Rescue has been honored to partner with Happy Horizons since 2022, coming alongside work they were already faithfully carrying forward in the Philippines.

Behind this Home of Hope are local leaders, house moms, counselors, teachers, and caregivers who make restoration part of everyday life.

Project Rescue’s Homes of Hope provide more than a safe place to stay. They create space for long-term restoration through consistent care, counseling, education, healthy relationships, and opportunities to grow in confidence and independence.

This month, we’re praying for God to make a way where the path feels difficult.

For students facing barriers to continuing their education—may doors remain open and encouragement meet them along the way.

For survivors moving forward in freedom—may they have the protection, support, and opportunities they need for what comes next.

For those walking alongside them—may God provide wisdom and every resource needed to serve with care.

And for ministry teams around the world—may they experience strength, protection, and God’s favor as they continue this work.

Across different countries and circumstances, the needs may look different. But we believe God is present in each one.

There are things we hope every survivor comes to know deeply.

That she is seen by God.
That she is loved.
That her worth has never been determined by what happened to her.
That her story is still being written.

For nearly 30 years, faith has been at the heart of Project Rescue—not as a simple answer to a complicated healing journey, but as a source of hope throughout it.

We believe in a God who draws near, who sees every person with dignity and love, and who is still at work in stories that are far from finished.

This is a faith worth passing down.

Some stories unfold in ways no one could have predicted.

Project Rescue first met Pragya in 2009 through one of our local teams serving in a red-light district. When she later disappeared, the team learned she had been trafficked. They searched for her, but couldn’t find her.

Years passed. They kept praying.

Then came a reunion no one expected.

Pragya’s story is a reminder that long-term restoration begins with continuing to show up—even when you don’t know how the story will unfold.

And when Pragya was ready to ask for help, there was a team ready to walk with her toward something different.
