IAGS Independence Day event and Peace Walk for Basil Padanilam.
This Saturday 9/13 at Washington park: 10 am - 2 pm.
1030 am - Flag hoisting, national anthems, remarks honoring Basil
11 am - peace walk for Basil (see map )
12 noon - Lunch including sugarcane and watermelon juice, Indian snacks from Toastys, kulfi from capital bazaar.
Activities - rock painting, karaoke, outdoor games
Parking - park along grand avenue, additional parking at adjacent velasco tennis center. Come early for easier parking as there is an art association event inside the park as well.
