Jacob is doing a fantastic job on his first day as a student intern in the Evangel Mabee Center.
Job sites not only teach our students work skills, but many social skills as well.
Today on their first day each student was responsible for setting their phone alarms as a reminder to leave the cafeteria on time, walking to work, greeting their supervisor with his/her appropriate name, obtaining the supervisor’s contact information, clocking in, making their own check list of daily responsibilities, performing these daily tasks, and checking in with their supervisor before clocking out.
A huge “Thank you” to these work-sites: Sodexo Cafeteria, Developmental Center of the Ozarks, Evangel Facilities, Evangel Mabee Center, Evangel Social Science Department, and Evangel Science Department.
