Some events are about miles. Others are about the people walking beside you.

It was an honor to spend Saturday morning with The ForWard Project and everyone who came together for the End 22 A Day Walk in memory of Eric Ward.

What stood out most wasn't just the turnout—it was the willingness of so many people to show up, walk together, and continue conversations that can save lives. Every person there helped carry Eric's legacy forward in their own way.

Thank you to Kendra, Brian, Baylee, the volunteers, sponsors, and every individual who walked, donated, or simply took the time to be present. Your support made this a meaningful day for everyone involved.

I'm grateful to have been there to document it.

Here are a few moments from the day.

Some stories deserve to be remembered.

This weekend, I had the privilege of documenting the End 22 A Day Walk in memory of my friend, Eric Ward.

Eric's life continues to make an impact through The ForWard Project, bringing people together in service, compassion, and support for veterans and their families. Seeing so many people show up to honor his memory was a powerful reminder that one person's legacy can continue to change lives.

This is exactly why Rising Valor exists.

Stories matter. Connection matters. And when we continue to have honest conversations and show up for one another, we help ensure that no one is forgotten.

Thank you to The ForWard Project for trusting me to preserve these moments, and thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated, and supported the event.

Eric, we remember you.

Today the Executive Board added a new Member. Logan Williams has been appointed to the newly developed position of Social Media Director. The Board determined that Social Media presence is necessary to get our story out to young eligible Veterans. Logan has the knowledge, skills, and the equipment to make this work for the Post. Please help me welcome Logan to our family and wish him well in his new position. I believe we will grow as a result of his work.
