MBK Street Ministry served up 130 meals at Helping Hands and 24 meals on the street before going to Helping Hands. Hot dogs, polish sausage, baked beans, chips, pastries for dessert and Juice to quench their thirst. A total of 270 hot dogs or polish sausage was served counting seconds and thirds. We had 39 in our gathering after dinner. The team served up some Agape love, the title of the message. Our goal is to spread God's Agape love so that other's cup will runneth over. The team handed out 30 Bibles. Those that had Bibles followed verse by verse intently to get a clearer understanding of what Agape love is about. Thank you to all MBK volunteers tonight, Dave & Tina from the Dream Center Food Shelf, Aaron from AAQ Ministry, Luke, Cheryl, Duke, Paula and Derek from MBK. We will continue our message on Agape love next Monday. If anyone has a Bible they are not using, we need Bibles. Please reach out to a team member. Jehoval-Jireh God is our provider.

MBK Street ministry received a call that there was a new homeless camp,16 people plus a pregnant lady. We cooked up some warm oatmeal, brown sugar, maple syrup, raisins, fresh donuts, hot coffee, juice, bottled water and blankets. Just a few blocks away we found another camp and served them. We prayed with all our new friends. The owner of the second camp is wanting to turn this into a transition home. We fed another 10 people and hand out more blankets. We closed out with our circle of prayer. Another door has been open with MBK Street ministry. Another feeding will be added and a Bible study. Thank you to Dave and Tina from the dream center food pantry, Cindy and Laura, and Destiny church for the coffee. Thank you Midwest mission for the blankets. This is what team Jesus looks like. People coming together to help those in need. God makes all things possible. Jehovah-Jireh God is a provider.

Brady is a perfect candidate for a bike from MBK Bike Ministry. Brady is in Helping Hands work program and works out past White Oaks Mall. Brady says, "this will make his life much easier." MBK Street Ministry, this is who we are, this is what we do, help make people's lives much easier.

This is MBK's third year with the bike ministry. We have donated over 50 bikes to help our friends to get to work, classes and church. This is what God's agape love looks like. Jehovah-Jireh God is our provider.

Another awesome Monday night at Washington Street Mission. We served 42 people Fried Chicken, chips and cookies. Gary Frank gave a great message. He began by asking a question, "who likes chocolate milk? Who doesn't like chocolate milk? Those of you who do like chocolate milk, you are in for a treat because that is the name of tonight’s message . . . chocolate milk. I'm going to read two verses that are true about you and true about me and then I’m going to use this prop of milk and chocolate syrup to help us explain the verse. And not just explain it but remember it."

He used 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Paul teaches that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and should honor God. Like chocolate syrup spreading through milk when it is shaken, the Holy Spirit gradually transforms every part of our lives as we invite God in, read the Bible, and allow Him to change our hearts, thoughts, and actions. Yahweh-Jireh. He always provides!

We had a great night at Washington St., Mission tonight. We served 77 people with Italian beef sandwiches, coleslaw, baked beans, and donuts.

Thank you, mellow cream for the donuts. And thank you Athens Christian church for the coleslaw and baked beans. A big thank you to Don Stevens for the Italian beef.

Gary Frank gave the message this evening. The message seems to have moved through three connected ideas from Genesis:

* The seed has a source. A seed comes from a plant and, when planted, depends on the ground, water, and the conditions God established for it to grow. Taken out of the ground the plant will die.
* The fish has a source. A fish is designed for the water. Take it out of its environment, and it cannot sustain life.
* Human beings have a source. In Genesis, humanity’s ultimate source is God. What happens when we try and live our lives without our source? We will weather away and die.

Know your source. Stay connected to your source. And surrender your life to the One from whom your life ultimately comes.

Jehovah Jireh God is good
