Amazing! Our seniors earned renewable 4 year scholarships from to attend Hollins University, George Mason, NOVA, and Virginia Tech! They worked hard in and out of the classroom to get where they are today! We are so proud of you!

Our students are rapidly overcoming years of educational delays, trauma, and displacement becoming successful students, graduating high school, earning scholarships, and going to college. Math Tutoring! We have expanded our school and community-based tutoring programs to include math. Some of our students have missed years of school and need help getting ready for algebra while others need help with geometry, algebra II, or Pre-Calc. All of our students must pass a math SOL to graduate and many want to pursue STEM degrees so math is key!

Visit to NOVA Community College! A number of our high school seniors and young adults learned more about financial aid, courses of study for their potential majors (biology computer science, sonography, criminal justice, and dental assisting), and took an awesome tour led by Zain one of our youth leaders finishing her second semester!

Spring break! Our students had the opportunity to spend the day with the Hon. Zia Faruqi, United States Magistrate Judge. They attended multiple court hearings and participated in mentoring sessions with Judge Faruqi and his distinguished clerks! They got a chance to see justice in action involving several criminal cases.
