Hi! We’re Caleb & Brittany Hendon, and we’re excited to share our journey as we prepare for our third missionary term in Peru. God is calling us to the vibrant city of Arequipa, home to 1.8 million people and a place that hasn't seen a missionary in nearly 30 years. With just a handful of small churches serving the community, we believe it’s time to plant seeds of hope and faith.

Our mission? To establish an Oral Bible Training Center that will empower local individuals to become pastors and leaders in their communities. Just imagine the ripple effect—training and equipping a new generation to carry the Gospel beyond what we can do alone! With your support, we can make a real difference and help transform lives. Loved getting to share with about our work in Peru this past Sunday!

And they're so willing to just give.

One boy came up to me and said he was going to be in a fishing tournament soon and if he won he was going to give it all to ❤️

‼️Testimony‼️

We were invited to share at a local Christian school today for their Bible class. We shared about missions, what it's like in Peru, our callings, and so on.

In the last class of the day, we had a few tough questions asked to us, but we were thankful because not many people are willing to really ask or say what they think about missions/missionaries, but overall it was going good.

With just a few minutes left of the class an announcement came over the speakers calling for the track team to meet. Two of the students got up to leave but they shook our hands and thanked us for coming. We had given the teacher a few prayer cards to pass out and he was giving them each one and one of the boys asked if we took donations.

He pulled his wallet out and began to cry. This 17 year old boy, in front of his classmates, began crying and saying "This is gonna sound crazy, but what you guys were saying was really just speaking to my heart and I was kinda talking to God and literally said if these guys say "chicken" I'm going to give them every dollar in my wallet. And just a few moments later y'all said it and I just have to be obedient."

And then he handed us every dollar he had, hugged our necks, and left.

We didn't ask for money. We simply shared our hearts.

God moved today and not just that boy's life was touched, but every student in that room saw something they had only ever heard about.
