December 01, 2020 -- Well, it is that time of the year once again, when JUSTIN RAY NELSON will get a huge Christmas bonus equal to around a week's pay (in both salary and housing) plus numerous gift cards to eat out with. This is in addition to his four weeks of paid vacation he is allowed to have every year, not to mention his "comp time," a category he alone invented and uses at SOUTH CREEK CHURCH to have extra days off when he wants to, even though he is technically a salaried employee and not an hourly wage earner. Because of this, Christmas is his favorite time of the year, second only to July, when the annual budget is updated and he gives himself a nice raise to cover "cost of living increases." No sooner will JUSTIN RAY NELSON be given his Christmas bonus than he will scurry away to a bathroom stall somewhere so he can quickly thumb through the cash and count it all. He is known for doing this. Make no mistake about it, he is covetous in his attitudes and absolutely loves money and possessions. But, be aware, his covetousness is only one of the numerous manifestations of his extreme and biblically disqualifying lack of self-control (see Titus 1:8). Some of the other expressions of this unrepentant sin in his life are as follows: a narcissistic and excessive desire to control others, an inordinate desire for information to use for selfish and manipulative reasons, an ungracious impatience when dealing with discipline issues, an unwillingness to forgive and trust people again, an inability to say "no" to his fleshly desires or to admit he is "wrong" about a major issue, a self-destructive tendency to engage in behaviors like gluttony, a desire to prove to others he is in control and has authority over them, a prideful preoccupation with his image, a recurring pattern of bragging, and giving in to the temptation to abuse others spiritually, emotionally, and relationally in strict, rigid, legalistic, and zero-tolerant ways. All of these issues and more stem from JUSTIN RAY NELSON'S sinful lack of self-control which bleeds over into every other part of his life in one way or another since his sin cannot be compartmentalized. When it comes to his Christmas bonus, I assure you, he and his wife, Wendy Nelson, who is as covetous and greedy in attitude as he is, have already decided how they are going to spend it, long before they even receive it. Having known JUSTIN RAY NELSON since 1992, I can authoritatively say that he is the adult version of a self-indulgent, morbidly obese, spoiled, third-grader, who cannot deny himself what he wants longterm. He gets very upset and feels like he has been treated unfairly if he cannot have what he wants when he wants it. He has a reputation for idolizing the ideal.
SOUTH CREEK CHURCH, you need to wake up, get your head out of the sand, and ask some serious questions: (1) Do you get paid annually as much as he does? Be sure to add up several line items on the annual budget to get an accurate count, including his salary, housing, reimbursable expenses, phone, internet, insurances of various types, retirement, HMP (health maintenance and prevention), etc. Keep in mind he only has one semester of college. He only has one child who is now legally an adult and works. He has a super low house payment. They have virtually no debt. And, his wife has been known to work outside the home, which is a miracle in itself considering how lazy she is and how she likes to get out of doing stuff (not only that, as a footnote, she has zero-tact when interacting with others), and yet, he wants you to believe he does not have enough money and needs the church to give him more because he deserves it. (2) Do you get to buy a new vehicle every couple of years? (3) Do you get to constantly buy furniture, furnishing, expensive ice cream machines, and mattresses, etc. (4) Do you get to have your own separately housed movie theater? (5) Do you get to have your own glassblowing business (yes, he is developing this because he knows there is a chance he will soon be unemployed due to his abuse of others, from what I have been told by those who know)? (6) Do you get to go on annual cruises and then come back and brag about it? (7) Do you get to give yourself raises each year as Congress does? (8) Do you get money from people who have zero ability to fire you? Remember, the pastors at SOUTH CREEK CHURCH are literally not accountable to anyone beyond themselves according to the Consitution and Bylaws of the congregation. No one can fire them for malpractice, although there is plenty of malpractice to go around. (9) Do you realize that JUSTIN RAY NELSON has a long history of being involved in theater and drama going all the way back to his childhood? He is an absolutely fabulous actor! To be clear, I am not accusing him of entertaining people, but I am accusing him of being a performer and a pretender. If you know JUSTIN RAY NELSON well, as I do, you can actually observe him shift into his theatrical-performer mode when he gets up before people. He does it smoothly, like flipping a switch. This is especially noticeable as he begins to "preach." You can see it happen if you study him carefully. Just look. You can notice it also when he prays at the end of singing sometimes when he consciously and intentionally puts that quiver in his voice like he's crying when he is not. He learned this technique from his early days in the Pentecostal and Assembly of God churches he was a part of. Sadly, I have come to realize after knowing JUSTIN RAY NELSON for 28 years that he is a complete FAKE and FRAUD! He is using you for money and power, SOUTH CREEK CHURCH! (10) Is it true according to reports that JUSTIN RAY NELSON has been plagiarizing Warren Wiersbe sermons when he preaches? I do not know if this is accurate or not since I am not present there, but if it is, which you should investigate, he is disqualified from ministry for an additional reason now. (11) Do you fully understand that the reason God allowed the problems to happen at SOUTH CREEK CHURCH which has taken place was to demonstrate who was genuinely saved (e.g., who would humbly, transparently, and publicly confess their sins and repent without ever being caught) and who was NOT really saved (e.g., who would abuse others, seriously and sinfully mishandle situations, and then deny, distort, and distract from their sin because they are unrepentant and unsaved)? You need to listen: JUSTIN RAN NELSON is religious and lost. This is why he is unable to correctly apply the Bible in major situations without supervision and why he is unable to discern accurately real repentance in someone else because he has never really repented of sin himself. He does not know what it is really like so he cannot really recognize it in another person. It is this simple, either his abuse of others has been unintentional (i.e., evidence of incompetence) or it has been intentional (i.e., evidence of maliciousness). In either case, however, it clearly shows he is disqualified from ministry. This is true regardless of the complicit support, protection, funding, approval, and enablement of JUSTIN RAY NELSON and BRANDON G. TAYLOR by the members and attendees of SOUTH CREEK CHURCH. Remember what God says about joining hands in support of others: "Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished" (Proverbs 11:21, KJV)
To summarize: Pastor Justin Ray Nelson at South Creek Church in Springfield, Missouri, is an unrepentant, dishonest, covetous, money-loving, spiritual, emotional, and relational abuser of others, and is permanently and biblically disqualified from ministry. He has been known to abuse others through the excessive use and misuse of pastoral authority, the misapplication of church discipline, the mishandling of Scripture to rationalize and justify his sins against and abuse of others, and the intentional and public misrepresentation of others! He has zero self-control, unsound judgment, and is not above reproach in numerous ways. He has been given numerous opportunities to repent and be biblically reconciled with those he has sinned against but refuses to do so, even going so far as to mishandle, misinterpret, and misapply the Bible to keep from doing it. Avoid him at all costs to protect your family! He is a spiritual predator!!
