First Ladies of Poverty Foundation , now First Generation Wealth Builders Founder / CEO, Shatoyia Jones

Hello everyone, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas in advance!
Since our last post in 2022, I have been debating about what to do with First Ladies of Poverty Foundation the organization. So much goes into running a business and a not-for-profit organization from recordkeeping, recruitment, accounting and taxes, day to day operations and so much more.
I started this organization because, at the time I founded it in 2019, there were 1.5 million NGOs (non-profit government organizations) that were in existence and yet poverty was still increasing. It didn't make any sense to me that will all these organizations and resources that existed in a supposedly first-world country, that poverty would be increasing. Then I took a few years to work in virtually every sector of society -- corporate, non-profit, grassroots, politics, arts & creative, not-for-profit, s-corps...the list is endless. In every sector, I found the same issues manifesting themselves in different ways.
The level of support I was receiving for the work I was doing for FREE was unsustainable for me. Finance and money was never my passion--learning the tools to financial freedom and wealth building to break generational curses and start generational healing in my family was, as well as sharing what I learned with people who desire to the same in their lives.
I committed 5+ years of blood, sweat, tears--sleepless nights, more bouts of depression with some moments of victory, when I realized I was doing all of this work and receiving little to no backing from the people who need it most in return. That's also around the time I felt strongly convicted to start a school for women, which is and has always been my dream profession, where my spirit glows and where my creativity is endless. While building First Ladies of Poverty Foundation now First Generation Wealth Builders full-time, I also was doing women's empowerment work part-time. At the time, I believed wealth education and poverty reduction was the most urgent task at hand. Now, I believe fortifying my own legacy and fortifying current and future generations of women and empowering female leaders in all facets of society is as a direct means to poverty reduction as well.
Since September 2022 I decided to focus on my women's empowerment work. Within 1 year of opening the doors of Kingdom Woman Finishing School, I have won countless awards, been inducted into ForbesBLK, won a grant and grew my online community to 10K+. We are just getting started.
So, what is happening with First Ladies of Poverty Foundation, now First Generation Wealth Builders?

I have been doing some deep thinking to figure out where this now fits into this next chapter in my left. As of December 2023, First Ladies of Poverty Foundation is now First Generation Wealth Builders, which will be conducted in an organizational partnership with Kingdom Woman Finishing School.
We are still serving first and second generation wealth builders predominantly, though we do have third, fourth and the rare fifth generation wealth builders as clients. We are still hosting generational wealth circles and bootcamps. We are still hiring. I still stand on my well-known statement:

The only thing that has really changed is that I am now focusing on my women's empowerment work, a lot more of the wealth building work will be automated and outsourced, and I will be less accessible (which means my price has increased). For those who still want this kind of education, it is still available to you.

We will host virtual generational wealth bootcamps once a week to start, and as we hire more people, it will be hosted more frequently.
