Spring is almost here!
It's almost 70 today so I took a peek in a couple of hives this afternoon. They're all bringing in pollen and a little nectar from the silver and red Maples. However it's still going to get cold so the sugar bricks will remain on for a little while!

The Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) Beginning Beekeeping course (CEW-5505) in 2026 is scheduled to start on every WEDNESDAY February 25, 2026. Classes are held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
