It’s that time 417 Waterfowlers! If you plan on hunting on Fellows Lake this season you gotta apply to get your spots. Check the post post below for the MDC link to apply! Good luck this season!

Fellows Lake offers waterfowl hunting opportunities right here in Springfield, and applications for the 2026–27 managed hunts open September 1.

Missouri residents can apply September 1st through 30th, with six hunt periods available, including options for disabled hunters.

Draw results will be posted online mid October, and selected applicants can bring up to three hunting partners.

These managed hunts help balance recreation and conservation while giving residents a chance to enjoy the outdoors close to home.

Hello fellow 417 waterfowl hunters! MDC just posted the new electronic draw dates for the 2026- 2027 Fellows Lake waterfowl hunting season. Sept 1st is when applications start and end on Sept 30th. A record-breaking year for Delta Waterfowl Chapters.

Thanks to the dedication of more than 6,300 volunteers across North America, Delta Waterfowl raised a record $16.1 million through chapter fundraising events during the 2025–2026 fiscal year.

This milestone reflects the incredible commitment of our chapter volunteers and supporters who continue to drive our mission to produce ducks and secure the future of waterfowl hunting.
