Grow I.O. Grow‌ ‌IO‌ ‌seeks‌ ‌to‌ ‌grow‌ ‌our‌ ‌community's‌ ‌health,‌ ‌food? Thanks to a grant from the New England Grass Roots Fund.

Grow‌ ‌IO‌ ‌is‌ ‌a‌ ‌new‌ ‌collaborative‌ ‌initiative‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌Indian‌ ‌Orchard‌ ‌Citizens‌ ‌Council,‌ ‌
and‌ ‌Wellspring‌ ‌Cooperative.‌ ‌Other‌ ‌partners‌ ‌include‌ ‌Orchard‌ ‌Covenant,‌ ‌Wellspring‌ ‌Harvest‌ ‌and‌ ‌
other‌ ‌local‌ ‌community‌ ‌groups,‌ ‌churches‌ ‌and‌ ‌businesses.‌ ‌
Objectives
Grow‌ ‌IO‌ ‌seeks‌ ‌to‌ ‌grow‌ ‌our‌ ‌community's‌ ‌health,‌ ‌food‌ ‌access,‌ ‌and‌ ‌sharing‌

‌through:‌ ‌
Greening‌ ‌and‌ ‌Growing‌ ‌Food‌‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Orchard‌ ‌through‌ ‌community‌ ‌gardens,‌ ‌supporting‌ ‌home‌ ‌gardening‌ ‌with‌ ‌raised‌ ‌beds‌. ‌
Strengthening‌ ‌‌Mutual‌ ‌Aid‌‌ ‌through‌ ‌networking,‌ ‌
skill-shares,‌ ‌Yoga‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Park,‌ ‌etc.‌ ‌
Learning‌ ‌together‌‌ ‌through‌ ‌workshops‌ ‌about‌ ‌gardening,‌ ‌cooking,‌ ‌
nutrition‌ ‌and‌ ‌diet,‌ ‌exercise,‌ ‌community‌ ‌empowerment,‌ ‌and‌ ‌so‌ ‌forth.‌ ‌

So excited to announce our Indian Orchard's 6th Annual Food Truck Festival
Date: October 8th, 2022
Time: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Location: in the parking lot across from
Myrtle Street Park 117 Main Street
Indian Orchard, Ma.

We are looking for volunteers to help out where needed and the volunteers will receive a voucher for 1 of the food trucks at the event .
