Unfortunately, HKRS Springfield will not be offering Fall programming at this location, as we do not have a Community Coordinator to help run the program yet. However, we wanted to bring to your attention that there are nearby HKRS programs open, if you are still interested in a healthy and fun activity for the whole family this fall! Do you want to help inspire kids in your community to lead an active, healthy life with a “Get Up and Go!” mindset?!

We are in search of a leader to step up as Community Coordinator of HKRS Springfield, VA for the spring 2024 season to provide programming and spread the Healthy Kids mission!

Just last year, we launched over 70 NEW PROGRAMS nationwide, currently operating in 41 STATES with over 250+ Community Coordinators!

Backed by an amazing support team, we empower moms, dads, and adults committed to making a difference in their community with the knowledge, materials and expertise needed to organize an incredibly impactful youth running program.

HKRS is a 'race in a box'! We have everything that you need to run a successful program. You will be assigned to a national team member that will help you every step of the way! This role also includes financial compensation.

We look forward to helping you continue to spread the HKRS mission to your community!

Dear Springfield, VA families,

Race cancelled today due to rain. Our 5th race will be on rain date October 15th.

My app earlier showed that it was going to rain starting 3pm and I called off all the volunteers. Sorry, if it doesn’t rain; I still can’t do the race today.
