South West Missouri Nurse Honor Guard We are a group of nurses that pay homage to nurses at the time of their death by preforming the Nightingale Tribute at the memorial service.

We had the honor to meet with members of the St John’s School of Nursing class of 1976. They were celebrating their 50 years of nursing. They asked for us to give a memorial tribute to their classmates who had passed. The plaque was in the entryway of the school before demolition. Now sits in the atrium at Mercy Springfield

So exciting for five new members to receive their chapter pins; Julie Creed, Trellena Guccione, Debbie Bridges, Nancy Hart & Julia Alley. Two members receiving their 25 tribute pin; Mary McCutcheon & JoLena Shalla.

We had 29 members for our chapter meeting today. We are growing stronger 🙂
