A parent facing eviction. A senior denied benefits. A domestic violence survivor trying to stay safe. A worker overwhelmed by debt or scams.

The details are different, but the fear is often the same: “What happens now?”

Legal aid can help answer that question. It can help someone understand their rights, prepare for court, and take the next step forward.

Your Founders’ Day gift will be tripled through June 30.

Land of Lincoln Legal Aid is facing a critical moment.

Potential federal funding cuts could seriously impact our ability to provide FREE civil legal help to people across central and southern Illinois.

In this message, Clarissa Gaff, our Executive Director, explains what is at stake — and how you can help.

Right now, gifts to our Founders’ Day Challenge are being matched 2:1 by our Board of Directors. That means your $1 becomes $3 to help people facing eviction, domestic violence, loss of benefits, consumer problems, and other urgent civil legal issues.

Give today and triple your impact: tiny.cc/fdc2026

Imagine being handed court papers and realizing your home could be taken.

Would you know what to do next? Would you know what to file? What to say in court? How to protect your family?

For many of our neighbors, Land of Lincoln is the place they turn when everything feels overwhelming.

This week, your gift will be tripled, up to $80,000.

You can help make justice possible.

During our Founders’ Day Challenge, every gift is matched 2:1 through June 30. That means your friends, family, and community can triple their impact when they give.

One simple way to help: create your own fundraiser and share why legal aid matters to you.

Your fundraiser can help connect people in central and southern Illinois with free legal help when they are facing some of life’s hardest moments.

Create a fundraiser today and help us unlock the full match: https://www.facebook.com/fundraiser/with_presence/create_dialog/?default_beneficiary_type=charity&default_beneficiary_id=1087510779265849&challenge_id=1480672273794615&prefill_type=fundraiser_for_challenge&is_comet_on_mobile=false&source=fundraiser_challenge_page_join_card

The Founders’ Day Challenge starts today!

Federal legal aid funding is facing serious threats, and people in our communities cannot wait for help.

From now through June 30, every $1 you give to Land of Lincoln will be matched with $2 by generous members of our Board of Directors, up to $80,000.

That means your gift will go three times as far to help people facing eviction, debt, scams, safety concerns, denied benefits, and other serious legal problems.

Give today: http://tiny.cc/fdc2026
