🌮🌱💚 A huge thank you to the 11 wonderful people who came out for our Compassion Crew Meetup at Cafe Cusco!

We had such a great time enjoying flavorful Peruvian inspired plant-based dishes together. The Jackfruit Fajitas were a definite highlight!

Events like these are what it's all about; supporting local restaurants offering vegan options, building community, and showing how exciting plant-based eating can be.

🍲🎥💚 Thank you to the 9 awesome people who joined us for our Vegan Potluck + Screening of Forks Over Knives!

We shared delicious plant-based food, met new friends, and had meaningful conversations about nutrition, health, and the impact our everyday choices can have on ourselves, animals, and the planet.

Forks Over Knives highlighted the growing body of research showing how a whole-food, plant-based diet can help prevent—and in some cases even reverse—many of the chronic diseases that affect millions of people. Whether you've been plant-based for years or were simply curious, we hope everyone left with something new to think about.

Thank you to everyone who brought a dish, participated in the discussion, and helped create such a welcoming atmosphere. Seeing this community continue to grow is incredibly encouraging. 💚

✨️ FREE FILM SCREENING ✨️
Join us for a screening of "Forks Over Knives" + Vegan Potluck this Sunday!

Forks Over Knives is an eye-opening documentary showing how a whole-food, plant-based diet can prevent and even reverse chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes.

The event will also double as a vegan potluck. Bring a vegan dish to share if you're able!

You do NOT have to be vegan to attend. This is a welcoming space for anyone who is curious, health-conscious, or just interested in trying great plant-based food, a free movie, and meeting kind people.

🌱🍔🔥 Huge thanks to the 27 wonderful people (and 2 dogs!) who joined us for our Vegan BBQ Potluck and Animal Freedom Day celebration! We enjoyed amazing food, great conversation, and celebrated a more compassionate world for animals.

The spread was incredible:BLTs, pulled jackfruit, carrot dogs, delicious desserts, and so much more!

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Missi Hesketh, for sharing an inspiring message about compassion and creating positive change in our communities.

Every event like this reminds us that bringing people together over great vegan food is one of the best ways to build a kinder future—for both animals and people. 🐄💚

💚🐄🌱 Huge thanks to the 15 wonderful people who joined us for our Farm Tour & Vegan Potluck at C.A.R.E. Farm Sanctuary!

We enjoyed a delicious variety of vegan dishes, shared meaningful conversations, and spent the afternoon connecting with compassionate people who care deeply about animals. Apparently, four different people had the same excellent idea and brought pasta salad, giving us an unexpected pasta salad showcase! 🥗😄

Many attendees also had the opportunity to meet some of the incredible rescued residents who call C.A.R.E. home. From pigs and horses to cows and other farmed animals, each animal has their own unique story and serves as a reminder that every life deserves compassion and respect. 🐷🐴🐮

Events like these help build community while creating opportunities to connect with animals as individuals rather than commodities. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with good food, kindness, and meaningful connections.

A huge thank you to C.A.R.E. Farm Sanctuary for welcoming us and for the lifesaving work they do every day. 💚

🍣🌱💚 Huge thanks to the 10 wonderful individuals who joined us for our Vegan Meetup at Kai After Dark and helped us celebrate the grand finale of the Springfield Vegan Chef Challenge!

Over delicious plant-based food, we enjoyed great conversation, built new connections, and spent the evening with fellow vegans, vegetarians, and veg-curious community members.

The Green Sunshine Roll was fresh and flavorful, the Sesame Ramen was packed with comforting goodness, and the Tofu Rice Bowl was absolutely delicious. 🥭🍜🥢

🍔🌱🔥 A huge thank you to the 11 amazing people who came out for our Vegan Meetup @ 14 Mil Market!

We spent the evening enjoying flavorful. plant-based mexican food. From tender jackfruit melts to the dirty garden smash, the food was absolutely incredible, and the company was even better!

Whether you've been with us for a while or it was your first time, it was so wonderful to share a table with such a warm, compassionate group of people. This is exactly what the Springfield Vegan Chef Challenge is all about; great food, great community, and showing this city what plant-based eating can look like.
